How many lives do you have?
If you have one, it's meant to be enjoyed. And if you have several... enjoy them too!
Key ingredients?
Health, without a doubt.
Money? It helps, let's not kid ourselves.
Love? A partner, children, friends, a dog, a cat... it all adds up.
And what does all of this have to do with me?
Well, I have a magic wand, and I'll give you everything with a unicorn as a bonus.
Let's be serious.
No wands or unicorns.
What we do have are ways to improve those three happiness classics, and one of them is your home.
I'm not pulling your leg.
I enjoy exploring and learning. I always have. Everyone has their vices.
When I got pregnant with my first daughter, I couldn't help but look into the toxins in my home.
Inevitably, I stumbled upon the world of bioconstruction. And I say inevitably because bioconstruction is, to a large extent, about making your home healthy.
I can assure you that when you know what you've unknowingly brought into your home, it can make you feel all kinds of ailments. Or at least, that's what happened to me back then. I had renovated my home four years earlier and realized the number of mistakes I had made.
Bioconstruction also aims for more efficient homes. And that leads us to the second significant topic: money.
Do you consider a car's fuel consumption before buying it? Well, the same will happen with your home. I know that almost no one pays attention to the energy certificate right now. But that's today. In a few years, it will significantly affect the selling price.
Do I have a crystal ball? No, I don't. If I did, I'd be winning the lottery, and I wouldn't be telling you all this.
But I know what's happening in countries like Germany and France. I'm aware of the pressure the EU is putting on this issue. And when buyers become aware of the savings they can achieve with an energy-efficient home, find it easier to secure a mortgage, and pay fewer taxes for their eco-friendly homes, what do you think will happen to the prices of "conventional" homes?
And what about love?
Well, in that regard, you might need to put in a little more effort. But being in a good mood and getting a good night's sleep make everything easier. And your home has a lot to do with that.
It's not a matter of Feng Shui and good vibes. It's about the air you breathe.
Add to that the fact that they are more eco-friendly houses.
Because I would like to leave a reasonably decent planet for my daughters. Well, for them and for everyone else, you understand. And I suspect that if you're here, you feel the same way.
In conclusion, what did my research lead to? Basically, there are smarter ways to build than the conventional ones.
Bioconstruction is one of those things that the more you know, the more you like.
So when I returned to Mallorca, I decided to start Greenbuilding.
And what do I do at Greenbuilding?
First, I advise you on bioconstruction and energy efficiency.
So you have the information you need to make good decisions.
The second step?
I define the project. If you decide to undertake a construction project, having a good definition is crucial. It will help you finish faster, stay within your budget, and avoid many disappointments.
The third step?
I carry out the construction.
If you are in Mallorca, I will build your home directly with Greenbuilding.
If you are in Catalonia, I will coordinate the work with collaborators who guarantee the same quality.
Forgive me, I haven't introduced myself yet.
This is me, Luisa Azpeleta.
Majorcan, mother, and civil engineer in nearly equal parts.
I lived in Barcelona for 20 years. And I returned. Because all Majorcans come back, right?
With GreenBuilding, I do what I love and, in the process, I contribute my part. And I help you do the same. Not just for the environment, but also for yourself. Because your home will be more comfortable, healthier, and more cost-effective. And construction projects are much better when you have good company.
P.S. I can smile, but not for photos.
